Software, Apps, and the Campaigns Behind Them

Aarna Info writes software, builds and publishes applications, and runs the advertising that brings people to them. One business for the build and the growth, rather than two that blame each other.

Services

Six Lines of Work

Software written to order, applications built and published, websites, the maintenance that follows, and the campaigns that put users in front of all of it.

Mobile App Development

Android and iOS applications built to a written specification, checked on the mid-range handsets most people actually own, and carried through store review rather than dropped at the upload form.

Capabilities

  • Android App Development
  • iOS App Development
  • Cross-Platform Development
  • UI Implementation
  • REST API Integration
  • Firebase Integration
  • App Maintenance
  • Performance Optimization

Website Development

Websites and browser tools that load fast on mobile data, work on a small screen, and remain editable afterwards by somebody who is not a developer.

Capabilities

  • Business Websites
  • Custom Web Applications
  • Responsive Development
  • E-commerce Development
  • Admin Dashboards
  • Backend Development
  • API Integration
  • Maintenance & Support

Custom Software Development

Programs written to order for one organisation's process — the case where every product on the market would require the process to change instead.

User Acquisition

Getting real users into a product, with tracking configured before the first rupee is spent so the numbers afterwards describe something real.

Process

The Four Stages

Every engagement runs through the same four. Each produces an artefact — a specification, a set of screens, an installable build, a repository — so progress is a thing you can inspect rather than a percentage somebody quotes.

  1. 01

    Specify

Conversations with whoever does the work now, turned into a written description of what gets built and what does not. You approve it before anything else begins.

  2. 02

    Design

Screens, data model and structure decided before code. Then the whole thing is cut into milestones small enough to be either done or not done.

  3. 03

    Build and Test

Delivered in reviewable increments. Each one is checked on the normal path, on bad input, on a slow connection and on hardware several years old.

  4. 04

    Ship and Support

Released, with the repository, the accounts and the notes that explain the decisions. We remain available for fixes, releases and the next piece of work.

Business model

Two Kinds of Work

AARNA INFO develops and manages selected internally owned digital products, and also provides mobile application development, website development, custom software development, digital advertising management, application management and user acquisition services to business clients.

Published by us

AARNA INFO is the product owner and provider

Where the application or digital product belongs to AARNA INFO, we are responsible for it: how it is built, how it is operated and how it is supported.

Built for a client

The client remains the owner and end provider

Where we perform development, management and advertising work on a client-owned product, ownership stays with that client unless a written agreement establishes otherwise. AARNA INFO performs the agreed services.

Working together

What to Expect

Five specifics. No figures behind them, because figures would need a source; these are things you can simply observe once a project is under way.

  • One Invoice, One Accountable Party

Build and campaigns under the same roof. Nobody gets to tell you the app is fine and the traffic is the problem, or the reverse.

  • Readable Over Clever

Conventional structure, ordinary naming, comments where the reasoning is not obvious. A clever shortcut that saves a week here costs a month the first time somebody else opens the file.

  • Estimates With Their Assumptions Attached

A number on its own hides what it rests on. Ours arrives with the assumptions listed, so when one turns out to be wrong you can see exactly which part of the figure moved.

  • Tested on Cheap Hardware

An older Android phone on a weak connection is the realistic case for most Indian users, so that is what things get checked against rather than a flagship on office wi-fi.

  • Everything Transfers

Repository, credentials, store accounts, deployment notes, campaign structure. All of it is yours, handed over in a state somebody else could pick up.

Send Us the Details

A rough description is enough to start. What it has to do, who it is for, and anything that already exists. The rest gets worked out together.
